Who Is She…

Maisie Avis is a photographer from Brighton currently finishing the final year of her degree studying photography at Cardiff Metropolitan University. Avis uses photography as a form of self-expression and in many ways therapy, she often explores her relationship between herself and her inner child through imaginative and detailed imagery, this approach allows her to visualise and process events from her life. Her work is thought provoking and deeply personal, she successfully combines capturing moments with telling stories in a way that challenges conventional perspectives.
